Happy Gotcha Day (a day early!!) Dear Anna Li, It was two years ago today that you joined our family. It is a day I will never forget- a day that I will cherish forever! I remember you holding my hand as we left with you for the very first time. I just knew everything was going to be ok! We brought you to America thinking you would be with us forever but as we know now, God had a different plan, a perfect plan just for you. God made you very special and I am so glad he decided to share you with us even though it was for just a short time. Today is a day of celebration as it is the day you entered our lives, the day you began your journey to America! It was just the beginning of your journey to find your forever family and I am just so thankful He used us as the stepping stone to get there. I hope you never forget just how special you are and just how many lives you touched. It is my prayer for you to always trust the Lord and follow Him. As long as you put Him first you can never go

Day 44  Busted! Caught both boys playing in the baby bed... at least its being used.... neither one of them would sleep in it!

Day 40 Bethany: "Where is Colin?" He is not in bed! Mom: Yes he is. Go check again, Bethany: "No, Mom! He is not in here." We get up out of bed to look for Colin and where do we find him... Under the baby sound a sleep in the trundle!  Silly boy!

I can honestly say this was the BEST vacation we have had in a very long time and MUCH NEEDED! 

Day 39 New Dishes- A color for each of us!  Each person is responsible for their own color. They have to wash, dry, and put them up.  This has really helped out on the amount of dishes we have to wash each day. LOVE IT!

Waiting for our 3 hour tour:) What is up with Colin and his super hero poses!?!?! Our glass bottom boat ride  We seen lots of fish on our tour... well maybe I should say they. Every time they said "oh look, there's a shark, a stingray, or other large fishes" I saw nothing!  The boat was all full of excitement and I didn't see a thing... well nothing but these little fishes!  The girls truly enjoyed the boat ride. I think it was the highlight of the whole trip.  Dylan wasn't allowed on deck for safety reasons so we took turns taking the big kids out. It was a beautiful day and we felt so blessed just to be there and able to spend time with Anna Li.  God is good my friends GOD IS GOOD!

Day 34 Helping mommy get ready for work!

Thursday we got up and decided to head for the Keys! Well, I said we got up but it wasn't early. To be honest it was rather late (its vacation right). So, Key Largo was as far as we made it. Can you see the excitement in Colin's face?? He was not forced into getting this picture... nope, no way!  Anna Li was the only willing participant to get their picture made at the visitor's center. The nice lady at the visitor's center told us of a really neat park to go to and that is where we spent our day.  Ready to swim.... or maybe not.  There is a reason why you do not see Bethany, Dylan, and myself in this water! They told us of a nice "beach" to go to but they failed to mention it being full of sharp rocks. Our tender feet couldn't handle those rocks so we sat in the shade while the rest had fun:) Chad and Anna Li swam out to a sunken ship.  I hear it was really cool but due to tender feet I will never know. After all that swimming we had a nutritious lun

Day 33 Dylan finally noticed the TV no worries, it held him captive for only 2 seconds then off to something else:)

Anna Li spent the rest of the week with us. We spent Wednesday at the beach most of the day. The kids had a blast together! After the beach we went out to eat at Bubba Gump's once again so Anna Li could fill up on shrimp:) Then we went to the movies and watched Karate Kid. It was a wonderful day!

We cooked out at the Poko's House and it was the highlight of our vacation. We really enjoyed it so much. Mike cooked chicken on the grill and Sandy prepared all the fixins' and desert. It was delicious! The big girls spent time in the jacuzzi while the little ones went for a swim. Colin and Amy both have a huge crush on each other!!  The little ones had so much fun together... well except for Dylan:) Hanna and Paisley got all dressed up for us... aren't they gorgeous?!?! Amy and Colin once again.... she got all dolled up for him:)  I don't think I will know here on earth why things happened the way they did but I am thankful and give God all the honor and glory and praise for putting Anna Li (Mary Katherine)  and the Poko family in my life. They are very special and dear to me.
