Hair Cuts and Oreos

Image
Chad came home from work only to find hair in the sink... and not just a little hair... a good chunk of hair. He called all the kids to the bathroom to see who the guilty party was and this is what he saw: The very same night we look down and discover this: Someone helped themselves to an Oreo!

A Funny Story

A little funny story about Anna Li (Mary Katherine)... She gave me a call last night and during our conversation she began to tell me about some of the music she likes. She asked me to hold on and the phone goes silent. I wait, and wait then decide to hang up since it was long distance. She calls me right back and says, "Did you not like the music?" I told her I didn't hear any music! Silly girl goes, "Ohhhh, I thought you were enjoying the music!" She then begins to sing it to me since I could not hear it through her I-pod. Another day, She calls and ask me, "So, how is your social life?" I died laughing. "Where did you learn that, girl!?!?!" She replies, "Oh, I listen very carefully!" She is such a hoot! God Bless her family for allowing us to be part of her life!

Disruption.. never an easy choice

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/eu_russia_adopted_boy Heartbreaking!! Just heartbreaking! As a mother who has disrupted her adoption I feel that I need to speak out. First and foremost, I 100% disagree with what this woman has done. Unfortunately, disruption happens... more than most realize. It is one of the most painful agonizing decisions that any parent could ever have to make. It is not something you go into lightly, but when you enter into that decision, there is a legal way to go about it. Shipping a child back to their country ALONE with a note is cold-hearted and completely unacceptable. I can see where the outrage is coming from! However, I feel that when a person's emotions are high she may tend to say things without completely thinking them through. So, I just want to take a minute to try to help you understand that disruption isn't always a bad word. DID YOU NOT EDUCATE YOUR SELF? Well, of course we did! We went to every class there was. We watched the videos. We talke...
